Brad

Brad is the founder and owner of Right Reaction® First Aid & Water Safety Training. Brad got his start in first aid and water safety as a lifeguard and swimming instructor for the City of Hamilton. Brad graduated with honours from the school of Broadcast Journalism at Mohawk College. He worked for a well-known radio broadcast company in Hamilton as part of the marketing and promotions team and filled in for multiple positions. He then transitioned into the sports apparel business as a division manager, operating Hamilton sports team’s retail stores, online store and stadium merchandise, supervising over 50 staff members. In 1998, Brad and his sister Julie started Right Reaction® as a part-time business and Brad made it a full-time company in February 2006.

Brad is an Emergency Medical Responder and Red Cross Instructor Trainer in all 3 training streams (First Aid & CPR/AED, Professional Responder, Wilderness First Aid).  Brad is a Red Cross Instructor for over 20 different courses in the 3 streams.
Right Reaction is also an Affiliate of the Lifesaving Society and Brad teaches Swimming & Water Safety from Preschool to the Bronze Levels.  Right Reaction was awarded Ham Spec Reader’s Choice Award for Best Swim Instruction in 2022, 2023 & 2024.

Brad was awarded a Forty Under 40 business award for Right Reaction, an award for business achievement and community involvement.  Brad was also Red Cross Training Partner of the Year as top Instructor Trainer.
