Course length: 15 hrs.

An in-depth course that is the “Standard” in first aid training. This course provides the participant with the ability to recognize and respond to injuries and emergencies. The participant also learns the skills required to be able to respond in an emergency.

ADD BLS to SFA: 2-3 additional hrs

BLS Stand-Alone – 4 hrs | BLS with Oxygen Therapy – 5 hrs | BLS with Airway Management – 5 hrs | BLS with Airway Management & Oxygen Therapy – 6 hrs

Designed to build participant confidence in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills and provide the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and perform rapid defibrillation. Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy can also be added as additional certifications to this course.

Audience for BLS includes in-facility care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals. Pre-hospital care providers, which may include professionals in a fire service, rescue team, sports-medicine, lifeguards and ski patrol.

Includes ADULT skills only. Includes Level C content MINUS:
